Palestinian civilians demonstrate for release of their murderers-sons from Israeli prisons by playing on Israelis' feelings

Look at the picture to the right of this text. This – is one of the most despicable Palestinian ‘games’ ever played. Palestinian relatives of terrorists imprisoned in Israeli jails have set up a ‘protest tent’ where they have set up jail-like bars and an effigy of Gilad Shalit. Family members said that if Israel wants Shalit back, it should release terrorists from its jails.

Family members held up framed pictures of their jailed sons, and gestured towards the protest’s chief attraction, an effigy of kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit. Dressed in IDF fatigues, the life-sized doll fitted with a picture of Shalit’s face was placed in a cage alongside signs written in Hebrew.

The messages, aimed at the Israeli public, warned that Shalit ‘won’t be the only one’ unless all Palestinian prisoners are released, and that he would never be returned ‘so long as our prisoners are in jail.

Hamas says it is ready for ‘negotiations’, while what it means is that it waits for Israel to cave in. Remember: we are talking about ruthless, cold-blooded murderers, who will return to terrorism as soon as they are released.

Therefore, this is what should be done. Israel should propose another deal, where it is ready to release one prisoner. Not a terrorist – just a security prisoner. Single. One. Uno. Israel has plenty of ways to pressure Hamas – including going into Gaza and finally finishing the job it has started – beating Hamas until it either destroys it or forces it to release Shalit. No cold-blooded genocidal animals should be released. Ever.
