A LONG ISLAND, New York, man – Mohammad Sohail – an owner of a deli, converted an attacking criminal into Islam.
When the robber entered his store and threatened Sohail, which then pulled a rifle. Surprisingly, instead of shooting, the Sohail gave the robber $40 and a bread loaf. When he turned to get the robber some free milk, the latter fled the scene.

Sadly enough, Sohail’s store was raided… by anti-drug agency officials, who seized “pipes and bongs”. It seems like the store owner will have to pay up to $30,000 in fines.
What interests me most in this story, is Sohail’s intent. Is he one of those moderate Muslims we hear about all the time, but never see? We will never get an answer on that, but judging by the fact that he forcefully converted a man into Islam under a rifle barrel might say otherwise.
It would also be good to find out how modern Islam treats drug dealers.
