Ahmadinejad blackmails US, Britain into submission

"One monkey!"

THE OFFICIAL WINNER of recent Iranian elections – Mahmoud Ahmadinejad – warned US and Britain to stay off his turf – or forget being friends with Iran.

"Definitely by hasty remarks you will not be placed in the circle of friendship with the Iranian nation. Therefore I advise you to correct your interfering stances," Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying in a meeting with clerics and scholars.

And we just thought he might give in to Barack Obama’s pleasant charm, walk out and hug us all – as demonstrated by Jimmy Carter, in his recent meeting with Gazan terror leader Ismail Haniyeh.

It would be interesting to see reaction of both US and UK – although none of substantial proportions are likely to follow. After all, current US administration does its best to reconcile with the Arab world, and such small provocations cannot stand in the way. Meanwhile, England’s Gordon Brown has more than he ever wished for on his shoulders – he certainly wishes not for a confrontation with Iran.
