A Palestinian demonstrating against Israel Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu instructed officials to offer suggestions on impairing conditions of Hamas detainees in Israeli prisons, news reports said today. While the PM is still undecided on the issue, he believes options should be thoroughly investigated:

The Internal Security and Justice ministries have been instructed by the prime minister to examine the option of submitting a government bill regarding the confinement conditions of Palestinian prisoners. The Prime Minister’s Office withdrew its opposition to a former bill initiated by Likud Knesset members concerning the matter, Ynet learned Sunday.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has yet to decide on the issue, and it remains unclear when the bill will be put forward. The matter depends on comprehensive political moves regarding negotiations with the Palestinians and indirect talks with Hamas for the release of captive soldier Gilad Shalit. Noam Shalit was also consulted on the issue.

UNDOUBTEDLY, THE MOVE would demand harsh response from Hamas, unwilling to allow international medical workers to visit IDF prisoner Gilad Shalit. If Netanyahu indeed approves the move, Israelis can expect frequent rocket and mortar launches from Gaza Strip, as Hamas and subsequent groups would try to discourage regular Israelis from supporting the move.

A Palestinian woman In the meanwhile, rocket fire into Israel continues, although some times it hits home base. According to Palestinian reports, a rocket fired by a terrorist group from within Gaza hit a house in the Strip, instead of Israel, fatally injuring a man, who later died of his wounds:

Gaza – Ma’an – Palestinian resistance fighters from an unknown faction misfired a projectile Sunday night, hitting a Khan Younis home and critically injuring one man who later died in hospital, sources in Gaza said.

Eighteen-year-old Ibrahim Sulaiman Malalha was taken to the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis then transferred to the European Hospital in Gaza City for treatment of injuries described as critical. He was announced dead on Monday morning, medical sources said.

It is indescribably sad, that the “freedom fighters” kill of own people for the sake of power and control over own people. It is even worse that these “freedom fighters” receive support from international sources, such as Europe, which demand Israel to negotiate with these pinheads.
